My Story

Patterns Shape Outcomes

My nearly 30-year career began as a hazardous materials manager in the aerospace industry, where I learned to identify patterns in complex systems.

When I transitioned to K–12 education in 1999, I brought that analytical lens with me. Over time, I began to see patterns in how women leaders were developed. Some were intentionally mentored and sponsored. Others navigated complexity alone.

I was fortunate. Mentors saw my potential and opened doors. I experienced what strategic support can make possible. I also witnessed what happens when that support is uneven.

That recognition is why I founded WOVEN.

E   The backward E

The backward E is a statement: “there exists.”

I believe in what becomes possible when women connect, strengthen one another, and build the conditions to lead.

There exists

  • I believe there exist women of vision ready to lead — and ready to be in relationship while doing it.
  • I believe there are solutions waiting to be discovered when women Engage, Explore, and Elevate together.
  • I believe there is a network committed to access, shared learning, and sustained support across public and mission-driven systems.

Engage • Explore • Elevate

I follow this arc: I connect with intention, I look honestly at what's real, then I elevate leadership through relationships, strategy, and shared power.

Advisory

Work begins in conversation.

I am currently focused on advisory and relational support for women leading in public and mission-driven systems. If you are seeking strategic partnership, we can begin there.
